Facts To Know About Salvation
1. You Need to be Saved
For ALL HAVE SINNED and come short of the glory of God
(Romans 3:23)
2. You Cannot Save Yourself
NOT by works of righteousness which ye have done, but
according to His mercy He saved us. (Titus 3:5)
3. God Has Provided For Your Salvation
For God SO LOVED the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, That WHOSEVER believeth in Him should
not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
4. Jesus is THE ONLY WAY of Salvation
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life;
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other
name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be
saved. (Acts 4:12)
5. God Wants To Save YOU
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count
slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that
any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
(II Peter 3:9)
6. God Will Save YOU...NOW
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of
salvation. (II Corinthians 6:2)
How Can I Be Saved?
1. Acknowledge Yourself a Sinner
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before
me. (Psalms 51:3)
2. Believe That God Will Do What He Says in the
Bible
But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that
cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder
of them that diligently seek Him (Henrews 11:6)
3. Repent - Turn to God
I tell you, Nay: but except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish
(Luke 13:3)
4. Call - From Your Heart, Ask the Lord to Save
You
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10)
5. Pray This Simple Prayer From Your Heart:
Dear Lord Jesus, I acknowledge my need as a sinner and I am
now asking you to come into my heart and life to be my Savior.
Amen.
NOW THAT I AM SAVED....
What Should I Do?
1. Be Assured of Salvation
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me
(John 10:27)
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name
of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life,
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God
(I John 5:13)
2. Be Baptized
Then they that gladly receive His word were baptized; and the
same day there were added unto them about three thousand
souls (Acts 2:41)
3. Attend Church Regularly
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner
of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as
ye see the day approaching (Hebrews 10:25)
4. Read Your Bible Daily
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth
(II Timothy 2:15)
5. Pray Daily
And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought
always to pray, and not to faint (Luke 18:1)
6. Tell Others About Christ
a. After Andrew was saved, he went out and found his own brother
Simon and brought him to Jesus (John 1:41 & 42)
b. When the woman at the well was saved, she went and brought
others to Jesus (John 4)
Now that you are saved, you too should get busy bringing others
to Jesus (Luke 14:23; John 15:8, 16)
